AP Chemistry Prep A: Matter and mass, properties of matter, physical and chemical changes, neutrons, electrons and protons, orbitals and the orbital energy diagram, electron configuration.
AP Chemistry Prep B: Periodic trends, conversions with moles and molar mass, percent composition, empirical and molecular formulas.
AP Chemistry Prep C: Ionic and covalent bonding, Lewis structures, molecular geometry, bond polarity, dipole moments, intermolecular forces, hybridization, formal charges.
AP Chemistry Prep D: Kinetic molecular theory, Boyles law, Charles’s law, combined gas law, ideal gas law, Dalton’s law of partial pressures, behavior of real gases, electromagnetic spectrum, Beer’s law.

Each course is two, 90 minute instructional lessons over one week, totaling 3 hours of instructional time. Also included are multiple hours of video content and practice problems and assessments.
The AP Chemistry Summer Prep is broken up into four courses, AP Chemistry Prep A, B, C and D. You don’t need to begin with Session A; as long as you’re confident with the topics it covers, you can start with any later session that matches your skill level.
You may register for one, two, or four sessions. If you register for multiple sessions, please make sure ALL dates work with your schedule!
